Transforming Our Cow Into A Sheep!

Updated: Sep 13, 2019

Using paper cups and the paper mache technique, we are slowly but surely turning Elizabeth Moo-Carthur into a sheep!

Firstly, we made two horn silhouettes using paper cups, and held them in place with tape. We then sawed the original fibre glass horns off the cow. After, we used wire to thread in the horns to ensure this silhouette will not move. Using the paper mache technique, we covered the entirety of both horns in newspaper, and when that dried, proceeded to paint the horns white in order to create a base. After that was dry, we created the final colour of the horns and painted the final coat. We then used a hot glue gun to stick the horns onto the cow, and used more paper mache to create the effect of the horns growing out of the head. After, we painted that paper mache and began to make the final touches like creating shadows.
